FUSE-IN Festival, Detroi, MI

May 28 2005 - I recently got back from the 2005 Detroit Electronic Music Festival, officially known as FUSE-In. I spun at the Scion/Barak Records booth, courtesy of my boy DJ Graffiti. It was a great time as most of my recent gigs have been commercially oriented so I was able to mix it up. I ran into all kinds of homies and friends as everyone from "Mad" Mike Banks to the 12 Tech Mob to DJ Marquis were around. It was great catching up with everyone but I didn't take as many pictures as I would've like. Beyond the festival, I'm also working on bringing a group of teens from Oakland, CA to the D for a visit so I started scouting out the city, stopping at places like Motown, Submerge, and the Charles Wright Museum of African-American History. I also got some decent jit footage and I might post it if I can dig up some server space. In the meanwhile, enjoy the pics!
