More Stanford University Upward Bound Pics

Aug 4 2004 - This summer I had an opportunity to teach three courses with Stanford University's Summer Upward Bound Program, a pre-college program for high school students in and near Palo Alto. Two of my classes were literature, with a heavy emphasis on poetry. Our guests included Oakland Slam Poet Carlos Mena. Beyond academics, students also participated in college tours and workshops.
