Below is the formal info, but in a nutshell, this is going to be a great event. We're going till the last person passes out. It's a unique spot and we're mixing sounds like you won't hear elsewhere...house, salsa, hip hop, dancehall, etc. Of course I'll be bringing the Detroit sounds!
Come to SOL’s Fall Extravaganza, Saturday, October 14th☼

Presentation Eric Holt Gimenez, the Executive Director of Food
First, will talk about Sustainable Agriculture in the Bay Area

☼Bring Instruments for music in our candle-lit organic urban garden
☼This summer Sol was able to employ 5 local youth as interns in our garden, using money we had previously fundraised. Proceeds from this event will enable us to continue this exciting program. Funds will also benefit Oakland Food Connection’s garden education and internship
programs. OFC is a non-profit focused on food justice in low-income neighborhoods.
