Lyrically, Detroit's Energy Provider touches on a variety of topics, as she big ups her hometown on "Represent," gives a "keep your head up" tribute to Black women on "Goddess" and gets introspecitve on "Torn." Behind the boards, I-Ron-Ic-Lee handles the bulk of the work, doing an outstanding job as he takes us from the up tempo, head-nodding "Hip Hop" to the mellow, aforementioned "Torn." The organic feel of the production, EP's distinctive voice and varied flows combine to deliver an original debut worthy of your hard-earned money.
